tracing_subscriber::fmt::format

Struct Compact

Source
pub struct Compact;
Available on crate features fmt and std only.
Expand description

Marker for Format that indicates that the compact log format should be used.

The compact format includes fields from all currently entered spans, after the event’s fields. Span fields are ordered (but not grouped) by span, and span names are not shown. A more compact representation of the event’s Level is used, and additional information—such as the event’s target—is disabled by default.

§Example Output

:; cargo run --example fmt-compact

Layout§

Note: Most layout information is completely unstable and may even differ between compilations. The only exception is types with certain repr(...) attributes. Please see the Rust Reference's “Type Layout” chapter for details on type layout guarantees.
