pub struct RandomState { /* private fields */ }
Available on crate feature
std
only.Expand description
RandomState
is the default state for HashMap
types.
A particular instance RandomState
will create the same instances of
Hasher
, but the hashers created by two different RandomState
instances are unlikely to produce the same result for the same values.
§Examples
use std::collections::HashMap;
use std::hash::RandomState;
let s = RandomState::new();
let mut map = HashMap::with_hasher(s);
map.insert(1, 2);
Implementations§

1.7.0 · Sourcepub fn new() -> RandomState
pub fn new() -> RandomState
Constructs a new RandomState
that is initialized with random keys.
§Examples

Layout§
Note: Most layout information is completely unstable and may even differ between compilations. The only exception is types with certain repr(...)
attributes. Please see the Rust Reference's “Type Layout” chapter for details on type layout guarantees.
