BigNumContext

Struct BigNumContext

Source
pub struct BigNumContext(/* private fields */);
Expand description

Temporary storage for BigNums on the secure heap

BigNum values are stored dynamically and therefore can be expensive to allocate. BigNumContext and the OpenSSL BN_CTX structure are used internally when passing BigNum values between subroutines.

Implementations§

Source§

impl BigNumContext

Source

pub fn new() -> Result<BigNumContext, ErrorStack>

Returns a new BigNumContext.

This corresponds to BN_CTX_new.

Source

pub fn new_secure() -> Result<BigNumContext, ErrorStack>

Returns a new secure BigNumContext.

This corresponds to BN_CTX_secure_new.

Trait Implementations§

Source§

impl AsRef<BigNumContextRef> for BigNumContext

Source§

fn as_ref(&self) -> &BigNumContextRef

Converts this type into a shared reference of the (usually inferred) input type.
Source§

impl Borrow<BigNumContextRef> for BigNumContext

Source§

fn borrow(&self) -> &BigNumContextRef

Immutably borrows from an owned value. Read more
Source§

impl Deref for BigNumContext

Source§

type Target = BigNumContextRef

Source§

fn deref(&self) -> &BigNumContextRef

Dereferences the value.
Source§

Source§

type Ref = BigNumContextRef

The type representing a reference to this type.
Source§

unsafe fn from_ptr(ptr: *mut BN_CTX) -> BigNumContext

Constructs an instance of this type from its raw type.
Source§

fn as_ptr(&self) -> *mut BN_CTX

Returns a raw pointer to the wrapped value.

Layout§

Note: Most layout information is completely unstable and may even differ between compilations. The only exception is types with certain repr(...) attributes. Please see the Rust Reference's “Type Layout” chapter for details on type layout guarantees.
